Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and [Lulz Development] ("we", "us", "developer"), the developer of Ghost Calls (the "App"), governing your use of the App. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the App.

1. The App

Ghost Calls is a story-reading and narration app featuring first-responder-themed short stories. Some stories are free; the full library, on-demand narration, and weekly new stories require an active subscription.

Ghost Calls contains mature horror-themed content and is intended for users aged 18 and older. By using the App, you represent that you are at least 18 years old.

2. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple-branded devices you own or control, in accordance with the App Store's Usage Rules, for your personal, non-commercial use.

3. Subscriptions

• Ghost Calls offers auto-renewing subscriptions: Monthly and Annual, at the prices shown in the App at time of purchase.
• New subscribers get a [3-day] free trial. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, you'll be charged for the plan you selected.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the same price you originally agreed to (subject to any price changes we communicate in advance as required by law).
• You can manage or cancel your subscription any time in Settings on your device (Apple ID → Subscriptions), or via the "Manage Subscription" link in the App's Settings screen. No refund will be given for the unused portion of a current billing period, except as required by law or Apple's policies.
• All billing is handled by Apple via the App Store; we don't process or store your payment details.

4. Content

Stories in Ghost Calls are presented as accounts shared for entertainment purposes. Details may be fictionalized, composited, or altered to protect the identities of those involved. Nothing in the App constitutes professional, medical, legal, or emergency-services advice. If you are experiencing an emergency, contact your local emergency services directly.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to: reverse-engineer or decompile the App except as permitted by law; use the App for any unlawful purpose; interfere with the App's operation; or attempt to bypass subscription entitlement checks.

6. Intellectual property

The App, its design, and its story content are owned by [YOUR NAME / COMPANY NAME] or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Your subscription grants you a license to access content within the App — it doesn't transfer any ownership rights.

7. No warranty

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DON'T WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.

8. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE APP WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms. You can stop using the App and cancel your subscription at any time as described in Section 3.

10. Apple as a third-party beneficiary

You acknowledge that this agreement is between you and us, not Apple, and Apple has no obligation to provide support for the App. In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) for the App to you; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the App. Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims by you relating to the App, including product liability claims, legal compliance claims, or claims under consumer protection law. Apple is not responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, or discharge of any third-party claim that the App infringes intellectual property rights. You agree to comply with any applicable third-party terms when using the App. Apple, and Apple's subsidiaries, are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and upon your acceptance, Apple has the right to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [State of Ohio, USA"], without regard to conflict of law principles.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
